Analysis of Genetic Structure in Meat Line of Tianshan Snow Goose Using Microsatellite Markers

Abstract: In order to evaluate the line’s breeding intensity and purity, this report using 7 microsatellite loci analyzed the meat line of Tianshan Snow Goose groups’ allele frequency,effective numbers of alleles,mean heterozygosity and the average polymorphism information content (PIC).The results showed that the meat line of Tianshan Snow Goose groups’ PIC was 0.4979, the genomic DNA present neutral polymorphism,and the mean heterozygosity was 0.5367.These indicated this group had highly consistency about their genetic basis,that meaned Tianshan Snow Goose through five generations succesive breeding,the genetic performance tended to stabilization; genomic purity reached a certain level.But it still needs further breeding selection according to the breeding goal.Our experiment selected out three highly polymorphic sites CKW11,CKW14,CKW43,that established the basis of relativity analysis between microsatellites sign and Tianshan Snow Goose groups’ produce performance.
