Diagnosis, Prevention and Cure of Enterobacter Asburiae Disease in Water Buffalo

Abstract

Abstract: In July 1999,there was an outbreak of sudden death of water buffaloes in Tongta village of Malipo County. Measures of disinfection, quarantine, destruction of sick badies, screening and administration of clinical drugs and development of preventive zones were taken, and the contagious disease was completely controlled. Samples from the sick buffaloes were sent for laboratory diagnosis, showing that this infection was caused by enterobacter asburiae.
