Abstract: 16 Staphylococcus aureus strains isolated from bovine mastitis of two intensive dairy farms were typed with RAPDPCR. Amplification with 3 primers, only primer OLP11 produce band patterns that have characteristics. Selection of anneal temperature and concentration of template shows that 33℃ and original concentration could produce clear, distinguishable and repeatable band patterns. The result shows that 2 groups were divided for the 16 strains and 14 belong to same group. Related coefficient of the band patterns for most strains is only 0.04, which demonstrated that these strains have similar genetic background.
