摘要: 微小RNA(miRNAs,microRNAs)是一类在动植物中长度约为22个核苷酸,通过RNA干涉途径调节蛋白编码基因表达活性的非编码小分子RNA。微小RNAs来源于染色体的非编码区域,由70~120个碱基大小的可形成发夹结构的前体加工折叠形成茎环结构,其表达具有组织和时期特异性,是调节其他功能基因表达的重要调控分子,而且其中一些基因在进化上有很高的保守性。微小RNAs能抑制多个基因的表达,因此这些分子将会在控制基因表达方面发挥巨大的作用。作者对微小RNAs的识别、特征、作用机制及功能进行探讨。

Abstract: Recent work has demonstrated that miRNAs are involved in critical biological processes by suppressing the translation of coding genes.This regulation
occurs at a posttranscriptional,presumably translational level and is distinct from RNA interference.Researches suggested that they are conserved in size,structure and function.The characteristic,identify,mechanism and function of miRNA are mainly reviewed.
