摘要: Mx(myxovirus resistance)蛋白是由干扰素诱导产生的具有GTP酶活性的肌动蛋白,具有广谱的抗病毒功能,可抑制RNA病毒及DNA病毒的复制。作者综述了Mx基因及其编码蛋白的结构和功能,阐述了其抗病毒的作用机制,并展望了Mx基因在抗病毒转基因育种领域的应用前景。

Abstract: The human myxovirus resistance(Mx) protein is a GTPase and a key mediator of the interferon-induced antiviral response against a wide range of viruses, and can inhibit the replication of a wide range of negative-and positive-strand RNA viruses as well as DNA viruses. Here we briefly review the most salient features of Mx genes and protein in the structure and antiviral function, and prospects development of antiviral transgenic animal breeding using this gene.
