Abstract: This study examined the effect of different temperatures on fermentation quality of King grass silages.Silages were prepared using plastic bottle and put in 25,30 and 35℃ in the laboratory.Chemical composition and organic acids were determined. The results showed that there were no significant differences in the contents of DM,CP,ADF,NDF and WSC among all treatments (P>0.05).The 30℃ treatment significantly decreased the pH and AN/TN of silage (P<0.05),and the grade of V-Scores was well.On the contrary, the 25 and 35℃ treatments significantly increased the pH,AN/TN and butyric acid contents of silages (P<0.05),and the grade of V-Scores were bad.It was concluded that temperature had significant effects on King grass silage fermentation quality, the proper temperature was 30℃.
