The Anatomical Pathology Observation on Natural Cases of Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease

Abstract: In order to offer a quick pathology reference on veterinary clinical diagnosis of rabbit disease,for one case of atypical rabbit hemorrhagic disease,the incidence and anatomical pathological changes were observed and photographed in detail. Through a comprehensive analysis of the epidemiological investigation, clinical symptoms, pathological changes, laboratory microbiological examination and serological test results,it was confirmed as rabbit hemorrhagic disease. The main pathological changes were that, heart congestion, auricle congestion, pericardial effusion, cardiac inner and outer membranes were scattered bleeding points in the tip size; laryngeal and tracheal mucosa congestion and bleeding, trachea were foamy fluid; pulmonary edema, hemorrhage; thymus severe edema, hemorrhage, and some swelling 3 to 5 folds, marble-like appearance; liver and slightly swollen, yellowish brown, fragile; splenomegaly was purple, edge jagged necrosis; stomach wall became thinner, the mucosa was easy to fall off; colon inflated bulging, serosal bleeding or bleeding spots; mesenteric lymph nodes, spotting; hydronephrosis, khaki, bleeding or bleeding spots; product urinary bladder, the bleeding point; females uterine edema, hemorrhage, etc. This article provided reference informations for veterinary clinical diagnosis of rabbit plague.
