Abstract: Using molecular biology software Vector NTI, the transferring-binding proteins-B of 15 Haemophilus parasuis(Hps) reference serovars and 12 isolates were analyzed with AluⅠ,AvaⅡ and RsaⅠ endonucleases. Reference serovars produced 11 different genotypes. GenotypeⅠ(AAA) included serovar 1,3,15 and genotypeⅡ(BBB) was represented by serovar 2, 9,11. Isolates had 10 genotypes, and 6 of those were new. The fact suggested heterogeneity of Hps isolates and PCR-RFLP was an useful method for studing the epidemiology of outbreaks of Glasser’s disease. Therefore, further validation with more field strains was needed.
