Abstract: This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of compound Leonurus Heterophyllus decoction on reproduction of sows. The diet of treatment group were supplemented with compound Leonurus Heterophyllus decoction one day, two days and three day postpartum respectively. The results showed that diets supplemented with compound Leonurus Heterophyllus decoction after delivery could shorten the time of postpartum lochiorrhea of sows and decreased endometritis significantly. Compound Leonurus Heterophyllus decoction groups had higher estrus rate than the control group. Moreover, the time of estrus of weaning sows in the three groups complied with compound Leonurus Hetrophyllus decoction was shorten significantly. The next litter size of treatment group was higher than the control group and the first group. From the results above, the author can conclude that compound Leonurus Heterophyllus decoction could enhance the reproduction performance of sows, decrease postpartum diseases and enhance the reproduction performance of sows.
