Abstract: The purpose of this research was to examine healthy dogs by using color doppler ultrasonography, establish healthy dogs’ doppler ultrasound indices. Nineteen healthy dogs were tested by B-mode ultrasonic, CDFI and PW. The results were analyzed to establish the doppler ultrasound index of healthy dogs (showed as mean ± standard deviation). This study found resistance index of renal arteries was positively repeatable. The data collected form left and right kidneys were similar, which could be considered as normal ultrasound index.
