Pathology Observation of a Wild Goose Infected by Newcastle Disease

Abstract: In this experiment, we had made observations on the general pathology and histopathology changes of a wild goose, which was infected by Newcastle disease. Obvious hemorrhage and necrosis were found in the intestinal tract, glandular stomach and endocardium, in accordance to the characteristics of Newcastle disease infection. Necrotic changes were found in small intestine, spleen and liver, renal glomerulus was also serious atrophied through histopathology observation. The results have offered references for the study of pathohistology of wild grew waterfowl infected by Newcastle disease.
