The Current Research, Prevention and Control on Brucellosis

Abstract

Abstract: Brucellosis is a serious zoonosis caused by Brucella spp. and results in abortion and infertility in several mammal species including humans. Transmission of Brucellosis to human mainly occurs by Brucella-infected animals. At present, the epidemic situation is sharply increasing. Here we summarized the current research and epidemic trends in Brucellosis, and preliminarily discuss the main difficulties of its prevention and control. 
