Abstract

Abstract: A suspected Riemeralla anatipestifer(RA) strain was isolated from ducks with disease of typical fibrinous percarditis,perihepatitis and airsacculitis in Sichuan province. By a series of systematic indentification,it was demonstrated to be Riemeralla anatipestifer.It produced urease,could not ferment carbohydrates,and could not produced H2S,nitrate,Indol,MR and VP test were negative.The isolated strain was highly susceptible to levofloxacin,gentanicin,piperacicin etc,and was not susceptible to streptomycin,penicilin,cefradine and so on.
