Sequence Analysis of S1 Gene of Isolated Strain of Infectious Bronchitis Virus

Abstract

Abstract: S1 gene of five strains of infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) isolated in Guangdong were amplified by using RT-PCR technique and the cDNA sequences of those strains were determined and analyzed. Phylogenetic relations based on the nucleotide and amino acid sequences were analyzed among isolates and the reference strains in GenBank by using DNAStar software. The results demonstrated that isolates have close relationship with the A2 and less relationship with traditional IBV vaccine strains H120，Ma5 and reference strains M41.
