Abstract

Abstract: Firstly,reviewed the domestic and foreign progress of transgenic cattle produced by pronuclear microinjection and somatic cell nuclear transfer, Secondly,introduced the application of the new technologies ,including gene targeting,RNAi and MMCT et al,in production of transgenic cattle and safe appraisal of transgenic cattle and its products. Finally, pointed out the present problems and development prospects of transgenic cattle.
