Feasibility of SSCP Polymorphism Detecting in Cattle mtDNA

Abstract

Abstract: In order to discuss the application feasibility of SSCP polymorphism in mtDNA polymorphism，15 cattle breeds of 523 were selected . Then basis of the SSCP polymorphism we selected individuals to sequence. The result of D-loop sequence SSCP didn't accord with the sequencing, however the result of 12S rRNA corresponded to SSCP polymorphism and sequencing. These show that the SSCP polymorphism don't adapt to quick variation sequences and can get good effect in slowly variation sequences.
