摘要: 诱导多能干( induced pluripotent stem,iPS)细胞在维持多能的同时能够持续自我更新。由于诱导多能干细胞能够创造病人特异或者疾病特异的多能干细胞,这些细胞对于研究疾病的机理和药物的发现非常有用。作者主要从iPS细胞建立的优化、被重编程的细胞类型、iPS细胞的发育潜能、iPS细胞产生的2种模型及iPS细胞的应用等5个方面进行了综述。

Abstract: Induced pluripotent stem(iPS) cells have the ability to self-renew while maintaining pluripotency. The generation of iPS cells would allow creation of patient-specific stem cells and disease-specific stem cells, they could be very useful to study various disease mechanisms and provide valuable tools for drug discovery. This article provides a review of recent progress in iPS cell research,including optimization methods to establish iPS cells,reprogrammed cell types,differentiation potential of iPS cells,elite and stochastic models for iPS cells,and applications of iPS cells.
