Abstract

Abstract: Pathogens cause infectious diseases in humans and animals，and they can also cause a number of public health problems. Tracing pathogens to source is important for genotyping，taxonomic studies of pathogens，as well as epidemiological investigations and control of diseases they cause. In recent years，a number of molecular techniques have been developed for tracing pathogens. This article reviews the latest advances in tracing technologies for pathogens and their applications in parasites.
