Introduction to the Application of Heritable Constructs 〖JP〗and Nonheritable Constructs and Safety Assessment of Foods Derived from Genetically Modified Animals

Abstract: With the development of gene technique during recent years, there were quite a number of transgenic living beings and production springing up. And it also brought into a lot of problems about security of transgenic food, which was paid more and more attention to. The method of manufacturing transgenic animals via application of genetic and nongenetic constructs, has large expansibility, as well as huge potential risk. This article mainly introduced the relationship between the application of genetic and nongenetic constructs and security of transgenic food, and discussed the further development of transgenic food.
