Isolation, Identification and Drug Sensitivity Test of Pasteurella multocida in Ducks

Abstract: 5 strain of ducks Pasteurella multocida isolated and purified from the livers and hearts of the sick breeding ducks in xinyu area of Jiangxi province was identified to be the pathogen of the duck disease based on its morphological and culture characteristics, biochemical test. Drug sensitivity test showed that the isolate was sensitive to levofloxacin, kanamycin, cefoxitin, cefoperazone and spectinomycin.
