Diagnosis and Treatment of Canine Acute Pancreatitis

Abstract: Acute pancreatitis is a common and important gastrointestinal disorder in dogs. It is an acute inflammatory disease of the pancreas, which is associated with different types of inflammatory cells. Canine acute pancreatitis is challenging to diagnose and treat. Using the latest diagnostic tests, the diagnostic rate of it is increase than ever before. Accurate and timely diagnosis is important. According to the recent researches on the acute pancreatitis, etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of it were reviewed in this article.
