Abstract: To explore the protective effects of the ethyl acetate extract from leaf of Ford Nervilia on acute lung injury(ALI),Kunming rats were randomly divided into three groups of the control group, the endotoxin group and the leaf of Ford Nervilia injection group, and each group was used the method of the abdominal cavity injection of endotoxin ALI modle. The expression of MDA and SOD in lung homogenate were examined meanwhile examining lung wet/dry weight ratio(W/D),pathological section, and the histopathological change of lung tissure were observed. The results showed that the ethyl acetate extract could significantly reduce the morphological changes of lung tissure. The MDA and SOD in lung homogenate were significant differences compared with the control group. Comfirmed that the ethyl acetate extract from leaf of Ford Nervilia had a protective effects to the ALI.
