Polymorphism in the Partial Mitochondrial nad1 Gene of Spirometra erinaceieuropaei Spargana

Abstract

Abstract: To amplify and analyse the mitochondrial NADH dehydrogenase subunit 1 (nad1) gene of Spirometra erinaceieuropaei isolates from Hunan province. The partial nad1 (pnad1) was amplified from each Spirometra erinaceieuropaei spargana sample，and pnad1 sequences were aligned using the ClustalX 1.81. Sequence homology analysis was performed using the Megalign program of the software DNAStar version 5.0. The results showed that the lengths of pnad1 were 570 bp. The results provided a foundation for further studies of molecular identification and molecular genetics of Spirometra erinaceieuropaei spargana.
