Development of Simian T-cell Lymphotropic Virus

Abstract: Simian T-cell lymphotropic virus(STLV) is the virus which specific pathogen (SPF) monkey eliminate. It is one kind of primates main retroviruses. It has long incubation period, nonhuman primates infected with this virus in a long time have no obvious symptoms. Research shows that STLV has same relationship with nonhuman primates T-lymphocytic leukemia and lymphoma. STLV transmit mainly through blood, other-to-child. At present, STLV is around the globe and can be divided into three types. This paper introduces the features, the popular and the detection method of the STLV.
