Abstract: To investigate the effect of AAⅠ in inducing apoptosis of the renal tubular epithelial cells(RTECs) in mouse, mouse primary RTECs were cultured and identificated by morphology observation. After RTECs treated with or without AAⅠ, DNA ladder, flow cytometry analysis (FCAS) the apoptosis of the RTECs. Mouse RTECs could be successfully cultured, with the increase of AAⅠ, cells lost epithelial characteristics. After 24 h, 20 to 80 μg/mL of AAⅠ stimulated RTECs, cells apparence late apoptosis. The apoptosis of mouse origin RTECs could be induced by AAⅠ, the degree of apoptosis is along with the increasing of AAⅠ action time and density.
