Research Progress on Routine Inactivants in Veterinary Vaccines

Abstract: In this review the types of inactivant in veterinary vaccines were introduced, and several main issues including the properties, the inactivating mechanism and the application progress of routine inactivants such as 60〖KG-*6〗Co γ irradiation, formaldehyde, Beta-propiolactone (BPL), acetylethylenimine (AEI), bromoethylamine hydrobromide (BEI) and polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride (PHMG) were discussed. The prospect of developing direction was also described.
