Abstract: itochondria is an important site for cellular energy production and storage， material metabolism, energy transformation.It not only induce apoptosis,but also be the executor of apoptosis.In the process of apoptosis,the active substances of apoptosis-related such as cytochrome C(Cyt·c),apoptosis inducing factor(AIF),B cell lymphoma gene-2(Bcl-2)release from mitochondria to the gap of the membrane that made the mitochondrial permeability transition pore(MPTP) opening,reduced mitochondrial membrane proton gradient on both side,lead to mitochondrial membrane potential cut down, induced apoptosis at last.At the same time,the Bcl-2 family can regulate apoptosis.In this paper,the relationship of MPTP, Cyt·c, AIF, Bcl-2 and apoptosis are reviewed.
