Abstract: The spleen cells were cultured in vitro were divided into five groups for seventy-two hours to study the adsorption of EGM to DON, RPMI-1640 was chosen as basal culture medium, nothing was added in the first group; 500 μg/L DON was added in the second group; 0.05%,0.10% and 0.15% EGM was respectively added in the third, the forth and the fifth group. The results showed that the survival rate of spleen cells, the activity of SOD of the first, the forth and the fifth group were significantly higher than the second group (P<0.01), the transformation rate of lymphocyte of the first, the forth and the fifth group were higher than the second group (P<0.05), the content of MDA of the second group was higher than the first, the forth and the fifth group (P<0.05), and the difference of all indices among the first, the forth and the fifth group were not significant(P>0.05). It concludes that EGM can effectively adsorb DON and relieve the toxic effect of DON to cultured spleen cells in vitro, and the best additive dose of EGM in diet is 0.10%.
