Relationship of Genetic Polymorphism of PRL Gene with Reproduction Trait in Pig

Abstract

Abstract: Genotype and allele frequencies of PRL in two hundred and sixty one hybrid pigs were detected by PCR-RFLP. The relationship between different genotypes and birth weight, body weight on 30 days and effective teat number were analyzed. The results showed that birth weight and body weight on 30 days of BB were higher than others, and effective teat number of CC was higher than others, but the difference was not significant.
