Study on Relationship between Neutralizing Antibody Titer and Antigen Contents of FMDV Vaccine

Abstract

Abstract: Relationship between amounts of antigens and effect of vaccine is important in the rseearch of new vaccine.The antigens(146S complete virion), inducing main neutralizing antibody of FMDV from vaccine,was abstracted to understand the relationship.Different contents of the antigen were inoculated into Guinea pig and the antibody response was studied by virus cell neutralization test. The results showed that antibody titer hadn’t increase when antigens over 1.5 μg, in opposite , the antibody titer decreased after booster immuniration when the contents of antigen over 15 μg.
