Abstract: Bamei pig, named Jingchuan pig or Huzhu pig, is a famous local breed in china, and it has the features of strong adaptability, high reproduction, good taste, steadily heritage, etc. However, for some reasons, the quantity of Bamei pig reduces sharply and it nearly dies out in the recent years. This paper is proposed to provide the theory and the technology support for the utilization of Bamei pig in china. The purpose is to enhance the seed selective breeding dynamics, enlarge the raw-breeding flock, find out the best way of protecting the breeds; carry out carry out “field + peasant household” production commodity mixed superior pig's breeding promotion pattern; and discuss the development prospect of the “high quality, security, green” pork. 
