Study on the Activities of Ciprofloxacin against Staphylococcus aureusand the Effect of Reserpine on these Activities

Abstract: To investigate the activities of Ciprofloxacin and the effects of reserpine on the activities of ciprofloxacin against Staphylococcus aureus. The minimal inhibitory concentration (MICs)and the effects of reserpine on MICs of Ciprofloxacin against Staphylococcus aureus were determined using standard agar dilution method.Antibacterial activity of ciprofloxacin was ideal strengthened by reserpine.zone of inhibition of Staphylococcus aureus was enlarged by ciprofloxacin.Sensitivity of detect was advanced in organize.our investigation found that center concentration converted 0.5 μl/ml to 0.0625 μl/ml and limits of detection converted 0.125 μg/ml to 0.015625 μg/ml after reserpine. limits of detection was reduced 8 times.
