Effect of Citrus on Milk Performance and Apparent Digestibility of Dairy Cows

Abstract: A feeding trial with 12 dairy cows was conducted to investigate the effects of citrus on milk performance and apparent digestibility. The results showed that: 4% FCM, milk fat content, milk solids content, milk fat product, and milk solids product in experiment group by supplemented citrus was extremely significantly (P<0.01), compared with control group, The citrus improved milk nutrients content and apparent digestibility of total mixed ration in experiment group.
