Abstract: A strain of bacillus was isolated from the carp intestine. The isolate was identified to be Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (named as JX001) by the biological characteristics and 16S rRNA sequencing analysis. The result of inhibition experiment of Aeromonas hydrophila in vitro showed that it had obvious bacteriostatic circle and inhibition zone,it indicated that the isolate could inhibit the growth of Aeromonas hydrophila. It could prevent the Aeromonas hydrophila outbreak by joining the isolate into aquaculture water. At the same time,JX001 strain had produced a lot of protease in the process of the growth and metabolism, which could effectively promote the protein hydrolysis, and be used in the degradation of protein feed.
