Abstract: In the experiment,we aseptically collected yak milk in Tibet, and then separated and purified bacteria, and identified by PCR; At the same time, researched the drug sensitivity of separated strains to provide reference for the prevention and curement of the pathogen in production practice. The results showed that the purified bacteria were gram positive Streptococcus and identified as Streptococcus agalactiae through biochemical identification and PCR.Drug sensitivity test showed that the separated strains were sensitive to most of penicillins, aminoglycosides and chloramphenicols. The research provided the reference for the prevention and curement of mastitis caused by yak Streptococcus agalactiae in Tibet.
