摘要: 信号转导与转录激活子5(signal transducer and activator of transcription,STAT5)作为一种重要的信号转导与转录激活子,能被多种细胞因子和多肽类激素激活,引起靶基因的转录。参与调控细胞的增殖、分化及凋亡,并对生物体的生长、造血和免疫应答具有重要意义,其活性的高低与肿瘤的发生和发展关系密切。作者重点阐述了STAT5的结构和生物学功能。

Abstract: Signal transducer and activator of transcription 5 (STAT5) was an important signal transducer and activator of transcription, and could be activated by a plethora of cytokines and polypeptide hormones resulting in transcriptional activation of specific target genes. It participated in the regulation of proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis of cell and played an important role in growth, hematopoiesis and immunological response. Furthermore, the activity of STAT5 was related to occurrence and development of tumor. This review summarized the structure and biological functions of STAT5.
