摘要: 基因组学研究已经由以全基因组测序为目标的结构基因组学转向以基因功能鉴定为目标的功能基因组学研究。作者综述了功能基因组学的内容、主要的新方法和新技术,如SAGE、ESTs、SSH、微阵列、生物信息学、RNAi等,并对其发展进行了简单展望。

Abstract: The research of genomics has been transferred from the structural genomics focusing on determining the complete sequences of the genome to the functional genomics focusing on elucidating the biological function of genes. In this paper,a brief introduction of the content of functional genomics and its mainly new technology ,such as SAGE, ESTs, SSH, microarray, bioinformatics, RNAi, proteomics and so on were summarized. Meanwhile, it reviewed the developments of functional genomics and simply previewed its prospective applications.
