The Effect of Diets Contained Different Cottonseed on Peformance of Lactation Dairy Cows

To determine the responses of dairy cow performance by diets contained diferent level cottonseed, thirty two primiparous Holstein cows was divided into four groups according to random split plot design by milk yeild, body weight and milking period. Animals in control, group 1, group 2 and group 3 was fed with diets contained 0%, 8%, 12% and 16% conttonseed, respectively. The milk yeild of group 1 was 5.65% more than control(P<0.05). The milk fat yeild of group 1 was significant higher than the others(P<0.05). There was difference of dry matter intake among groups.

Fattening period through research crossbred Boer goats of the wave energy and protein nutritional requirements parameters, screening of a better economic efficiency and the energy mix of protein feed supplements, with a view to keeping the scientific theoretical basis and provide production guidance. Sixteen fattening crossbred male Boer goats F1 weaned at the age of 3 month were used to study . A 4×4 Latin square experiment design was conducted to study the energy and protein requirements of stallfeeding crossbred Boer goats fed the four different diets based on recommendation of nutrients requirements of NRC(1981).The results indicated that four different diets ration the relationship between DMI and average daily gain (ΔW,g/d) and metabolic weight (W0.75,kg) is:DMI (g/d)=181.3W0.75-.61ΔW-886.2(r=0.9287).The prediction equations of nutritional requirements about gross energy (GE), digestible energy (DE) and crude protein (CP) for stallfeeding growing crossbred Boer goats were:CP(g/d)=19.56 W0.75+0.25ΔW-128.6(r=0.7836),GE(MJ/d)=2.98 W0.75+0.023ΔW-18.69(r=0.8257),DE(MJ/d)=1.26 W0.75-0.006ΔW-3.56(r=0.6236)。For the stallfeeding growing crossbred Boer goats, aged at 3 to 6 months, Metabolic rate of gross energy of the diets is 0.49; digestibility of crude protein is 0.63.The protein requirement of per live weight gain form eat goats is 0.32g PD/g gain (PD, protein deposited).

One hundred and eighty avin broilers were divided into 6 groups with oneway random design, each group including 3 replicates (10 briolers per replicate) .The first group was the control group, fed with cornsoybean and the Second to 6th groups were experimental groups, fed with basal diet supplement with 5,10,50,100,500 mg/kg Echinacea respectively. The whole experimental period was 7 weeks. The objective was to study the effects of different concentration Echinacea on antioxidant function and production performance. The experimental results showed that: The Echinacea abstract with 50mg/kg had the highest free radical scavenging effects on hydroxyl free radicals,and the activities of SOD,GSHPx were enhanced,the content of MDA in blood serum of the broilers was decreased. But there is not significantly different in the production performance ,just a certain improvement.

With nested transcription polymerrase chain reaction, the interferon-α gene fragment of shitou goose (d-Go-IFN-α) was amplified from genome DNA extracted from peripheral blood cells (PBCs). At the same time, the total RNA was extracted from peripheral blood lymphocyte (PBLs) stimulated with Newcasttle disease virus(NDV) in vivo, and transcription polymerrase chain reaction(RT-PCR) was used to amplify the interferon-α gene fragment of shitou goose (m-Go-IFN-α), then both of the amplified fragments were cloned into pGEM-T easy vector and sequenced. The results showed that both of the d-Go-IFN-α and m-Go-IFN-α were both consisted of 576 necleotides, coding for 192 amino acids. Compared with the nucleotide sequences of d-Go-IFN-α and m-Go-IFN-α, a variation A→G at the 155th site was observed, and the 52th amino acid was mutated from M to R accordingly, which implied that there was single nucleotde polymorphism in IFN-α sequence.of Shitou goose. The homolony of nucleotide and the deduced amino acid sequence among different poultry breeds were 41.2 % to 98.3% and 13.0% to 96.4% respectively. The secondary structure of the IFN-α were almost the same among different goose breeds. 

We report the effects of candidate gene Dopamine Receptor D1 (DRD1) gene on selfbiting in the current study. In this study, partial sequence of Dopamine Receptor D1 genes were firstly extracted from feet in American mink, and were amplified using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method, then sequenced. Now the sequence has been sent to Gene Bank with registration, and the Accession Number is EU249297. Comparison the fragment sequence of different individuals, we found T→C mutation, but coded amino acid had no change. Then followed by single strand conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) analysis, there showed three kinds of genotypes: AA, AB, BB. The correlation between the genotypes with the in selfbiting behavior was analyzed, the results showed that the frequency of allele A is higher than allele B, the AA genotypes in control group were higher than that of selfbiting group, and is different significantly (P<0.05).

The research choose 600 AA broilers which were randomly divided into two groups, each group repeat three times. experiment groups were fed traditional Chinese medicine group and control group were fed basal diet with 20 days. The result show: traditional Chinese medicine additive can improve growth performance of broilers in high temperuture. Experiment groups were more quiet than control groups especially in last week. Average daily gain in experiment groups can improve 8.1% than control groups(P<0.05),and feed/meat ratio in experiment group reduce 7.34% than control groups(P<0.05).But average daily feed intake is appreciably more high in experiment groups than in control groups. In a word , traditional Chinese medicine additive can improve growth performance of broilers and reduce feed/meat ratio.

34 serums of yak with IBRV( positive group) and 18 serums of health (negetive group) were detected liver function indexes by mean of boichemistry. The results were showed that: The total protein, globin, βglobin of positive serum were lower than those of negative serum (P<0.05), but AST, ALT and AST/ALT of positive serum were higher than those of negative serum ,there was very significant difference (P<0.01), there were not statistical value between others indexes of positive serum and ones of negative serum(P>0.05),and livers of part yaks with IBRV were damagede heavily(11.77%).
