Abstract: The research aimed to carry out the cloning, identification and sequence analysis of genomic DNA of carp interferon γ-2β (IFNγ-2β). On the basis of the full-length cDNA of carp, we designed two pairs of primers in its bilateral untranslated regions and the exons to perform PCR that used the carp spleen genomic DNA as the template, the IFNγ-2β full-length genomic DNA sequence was obtained. The full-length genomic DNA was 2084 bp, the GenBank accession number was JX181981, the gene sequence analysis showed the evolution of conservative and contained 4 exons and 3 introns were like most of the other species, the number of bases of each exon closed to the mammalian exons correspondingly. The exon and intron splice sites were complied with GT-AG rules.
