Biological Activities and Application in Animal Production of Polysaccharide

Abstract

Abstract: Polysaccharides play multiple roles and have extensive bioactivities in life process. This review describes their major biological activities involved in immunity, antibacteria, antivirus, antioxidation, etc. Moreover, the application in poultry production, livestock production, aquiculture and the problems in the application were discussed, and all this is ordered to provide theoretic references on the exploitation of polysaccharide additive.
