Abstract: Extracellular matrix(ECM)of endometrium was an important factor which kept biological function of the uterus.The expression of ECM would change with the reproductive cycle. The uterine disease happened,the ECM abnormal expression.The metabolism of ECM is adjusted by matrix metalloproteinase and the inhibitor of tissue,and it was closely related to the ovarian hormone. The expression of ECM can reflect the uterine status,and it was intimate correlate with uterine function.So it became one of the hot spots on the study.The characteristics of ECM expression on the endometrium,the rules of the metabolism and the regulatory mechanism were the summary in this article， and discussed the effect of them in the disease of dairy cow uterus.
