甜菜碱的生理学功能及其在畜牧生产中应用的研究进展

Abstract

Abstract: Betaine and its hydrochlorides was played an important role in the methyl metabolism as a high efficient methyl donors，which could adjusted the osmotic stress，promoted both fat and amino acid metabolism，enhanced protein synthesis and improved meat quality，so it was widely used in feed industry and livestock production as a novel and safe nutritional additive.The objective of this paper was to review the recent reports about physiological function of betaine at the moment，and its application in ruminants and single-stomached animal production.
