Abstract: We used immunohistochemical methods to investigate the expression pattern of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in hair follicle of Liaoning cashmere goat in fetal period, and detected the expression of VEGF in the different fetal period and Microvessel density (MVD). The research results showed that VEGF expressed in hair papilla and hair follicle inner root sheath in Liaoning cashmere goat of each fetal period after 75 days. At the same time, the average optical density of VEGF-positive area also increased and skin MVD showed a growing trend, and the average optical density and MVD were strong positive correlation (r=0.966,P=0.007).
