Abstract: 367 swine entrails were detected by PCR, and 2a/2b subgenetype was deferential by PCR. 164 positive samples were confirmed subgenotype PCV2a and PCV2b. The PCV2b positive proportion in sick swinery was higher than that in healthy swinery, while PCV2a positive proportion was lower in sick swinery than that in healthy swinery. Amino acid sites of ORF2 were compared in 12 PCV2 isolates, and 9 PCV2b isolates were more virulent than that of 3 PCV2a isolates. The research indicated that PCV2b was more virulent than PCV2a by epidemiology survey and amino acid sites comparison.
