Abstract: In order to investigate the effect of different Astragalus polysaccharides levels in diets on growth performance in dairy bull calf,30 dairy bull calves of one month old were selected and randomly divided into 3 groups, there were ten calves in each group, each of group A was added 5 g Astragalus polysaccharides every day,and each of group B was added 10 g Astragalus polysaccharides every day,the group C was not added Astragalus polysaccharides as control group. The results showed that each of group supplementation of 5 and 10 g Astragalus polysaccharides every day had significantly improved the feed intake and daily gain(P<0.05), reduced diarrhea rates and increased body size indicators. Considering the cost and other factors, adding 5 g Astragalus polysaccharides in diets for each of daily bull calf every day has the best effect in production.
