Effects of Chinese Herbal Formula on Muscle Nutrition Ingredient in Broilers

Abstract: 270 1-day-old broilers were randomly divided into 6 groups, each group contained of three replicates with 15 broilers. GroupⅠfed basic diet without antibiotic and prebiotics, groupⅡ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ, Ⅵ was fed with basic diets adding antibiotic, 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5% and 2.0% Chinese herb feed additive respectively. The trial lasted 42 days to study the effects on meat quality in broilers. The results showed that Chinese herbal medicine could improve the content of meat nutrition and remarkably decrease the content of cholesterol.
