Abstract: To compare the efficacy of Qinlian liquid with Baihu soup on 'fever disease symptom’, LPS was injected intravenously to form fever disease symptom in rabbit, and pathologic observation in liver tissue and serum biochemical analysis was conducted before and after treatment with the two kinds of formula respectively. The results showed that rabbit liver lesion was caused by 15 μg/kg LPS strikingly, and the levels of serum ALT, AST and Urea were increased, while TC was decreased. Then, after treatment with Qinlian liquid and Baihu soup, the liver lesion was cured and the concentration of four serum biochemical index returned to normal levels. The results indicated the liver lesion can be cured by Qinlian liquid and Baihu soup, and two formulas have their own advantages.
