Research Progress of Porcine miRNAs

Abstract: miRNA is a class of non-coding small RNA about 18 to 24 nt in length,which regulates the expression of message RNA specifically. As pork has been one of the most important commodity,people pay more attention to the regulation of porcine development and meat quality,especially the recent developed miRNA. So far,only 78 porcine miRNA has been reported,the overview was composed according to the those reported miRNA,especially the muscle and fat relative ones.
