Abstract: The objective of this experiment was to research the effects of four different protein dietary A, B, C and D, which were soybean meal, cottonseed meal, rapeseed meal and DDGS respectively on rumen fermentation and the synthesis of microprotein. Treatments were arranged as a 4×4 Latin square design, and four goats (30±2.5) kg fitted with permanent ruminal cannulaes. The results indicated that there was not significant difference among four groups on rumen pH (P>0.05); the NH3-N concentration of group A was higher significantly than that of group D (P<0.05). There was significant difference among four groups on the yield of MCP, the yield of group A is highest, it is higher significantly than that of groups B and C (P<0.05), and higher significantly than that of group D (P<0.01). There was significant difference among four groups on acetic acid, propionate acid, butyric acid concentration, and total VFA concentration of groups A and B were higher than groups C and D (P<0.05).
