Abstract: Mutations have been identified in an increasing number of genes that influence the onset and progression of puberty. These mutations accounted for about 75% of the variation in the timing of puberty. This review briefly introduced the relationships between mutations of DAX1, KAL1, FGFR1, PROP1, PROKR2/ PROK2 genes and delayed puberty in mammals.
